Crayon Aquarium is built to be friendly to families. Here's exactly what we handle, and why, in plain language.
Your drawings. When you scan a creature, we store the image so it can appear in your aquarium. Free tanks are deleted automatically about 24 hours after they're created; a tank you've kept with Keep My Tank stays until you ask us to remove it.
Names you type. If you give your tank a display name, we store it so it can show on the tank. It's optional.
Anonymous usage events. We log simple events like "an aquarium was created" so we can see how the site is used. These carry no personal information, and we don't record IP addresses.
Your email, only if you buy Keep My Tank. We receive it so we can send you the private link to your kept tank and help with anything about your purchase. That's the only thing we use it for.
Crayon Aquarium is intended for users aged 13 and older, with younger kids drawing under a parent's supervision. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
